Gibbons Studio is Jérémie Balais. Animator and director, driven by motion, image and staging.
Trained at the École Émile Cohl, then at La Poudrière, I now work as a freelancer. Short films, music videos, educational films, commissioned and commercial work. From writing to the final frame.
My strength is adapting my narrative and artistic voice to each project. I love heterogeneity. It pushes me to renew myself and grow rather than locking into a single style.
My films travel to festivals. New Moon was notably shortlisted for the 2023 Academy Awards.
